Sodam Restaurant is an iOS application game about Korean cuisine for children between the ages of 7 and 9 years old. With the goal of teaching a foreign audience about traditional Korean culture, the game invites players to become a cook in a traditional Korean restaurant. Players are given the task of creating a classic Korean dish and then have to buy the ingredients needed to win praise for their cooking skills. Using a 2D illustration style, the game playfully educates non-Koreans about the fundamentals of Korean culture through its cuisine.
